BrandStand was born in 2020, in a rare moment of pause. After decades in the promotional products industry, I found myself searching for purpose — and what I found was something better hi: a chance to build a brand rooted in people, pride, and personality.
Today, we’re proud to serve schools, teams, businesses, and communities with custom branded merch that tells a story — your story.
It all started in Taylor, Michigan.
Back in 1996, I got my start at Arrow Uniform — a third-generation, family-run business where I learned everything I wanted my own company to be. Arrow wasn’t just about uniforms — it was about loyalty, legacy, and deep hometown bonds.
When Arrow sold, I went on to become a VP of Sales at one of the largest suppliers in the industry. I walked in and out of thousands of businesses just like BrandStand… and I took notes.
BrandStand was built from everything I’d seen and everything I believed in:

The very first BrandStand hire? My sister Starr 🌟 — the calm to my chaos, the organized to my artsy. She packs a mean work order, runs the shop like a pro, and somehow keeps us all on task most of the time.
Together, we’ve grown a team that includes family members, friends and local students from Taylor and Allen Park — the places we love most.
We’re proud to create jobs, give back, and keep it local.
This spot isn’t just a building — it’s home.
BrandStand lives at the corner of Taylor, where we grew up… and Allen Park, where I raised my family.
Allen Park is also our biggest customer — and our biggest cheerleader.
Our boutique storefront is a true reflection of our roots: colorful, welcoming, and full of spirit.
